Hello!!! i know its been a month! I have been so busy with work, church, family & trying to get baby things ready for my little guy. He WAS DUE NOVEMBER 12 but came early! 2 weeks earlier than anticipated. If anything i thought he was going to be on Samoan/Poly time and come like 2 weeks late, but Emett is more like his daddy... very punctual and early to everything!

It has been such a blessing, seriously who would have thought that such a tiny little thing can bring such a huge spirit into our home!?!? Our home feels so differently now. He brings a warmth and a joy i never thought I was missing.

You know that feeling when you first get married or fall in love, you are soooo happy and heart full of joy and happiness? Well motherly love is a whole different feeling! I cant explain it. It's the kind of love that allows you to go without sleep for days and function on 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night to make sure they are fed, have a clean diaper, and are comfy. You want the absolute best for them! i love staring at him. It is a lot of work and they require so much time and attention. It is so fun though. It is work though that's for sure.

It took us forever to decide on Emett. but i love the name it suits him, he'll be an athlete, and NO I DID NOT name him after a twilight character! his middle name Mathias is after my only brother :O)

Here is is daddy in the recovery room. Levi is sooo good with him! the wall in the back says Cherish the little things... how appropriate! Emett looks so much like his daddy. They say babies change so much within the first 6 weeks so i am still waiting to see if he has any of my physical features. Even his eyes are a glossy bluey gray color.

7 has always been my lucky number! All through middle & high school, club travel volleyball and college my jersey # was always #7 so i had to take a pic of the room we stayed in for 3 days @ hospital.

b/c of the swine fly craziness they didnt allow any visitors during the entire stay at the hospital so that was sad :O( g'ma and g'pa Rock drove all the way from highland to look at a picture! LAME!

Ok so I was dialated to a whopping 7 CM! No pain and well i was contracting but didnt feel anything! WHAT A BLESSING!

I went in for my weekly check up and asked the doctor if it would be ok to travel to Orem for a halloween party being so close to my due date, he said we'll see how far along your are dialated....

he looked at me in shock b/c just the week before i was only at a 3! i felt fine and he said I needed to go up stairs to have the baby right away being dialated to a 7 and letting me leave was dangerous b/c the cervix was so open and nothing was protecting the membranes (whatever that means) and it could get infected and blah blah...

i wanted to cry! i was not ready to have a baby and i was sooooo scared! i told Dr Olsen that i had to be at work in 10 min and that i had too many things going on that weekend and if we could push it to the following Monday........ I KNOW! What WAS i thinking!????!!!

honestly i was just scared and not prepared to have a kid that soon, plus i felt fine. the usual cramping but nothing like labor pains like they show on the movies. (lol i like that i base it off of that) but for reals though.

so I went to work and called Levi and he was like WHAT??? NO YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL! so i helped some customers at the bank for a while (about 2 hours) and my boss and co workers kept trying to push me out the door to get to the hospital. I called my mom and she booked her flight right away, Levi went home and packed my bags, ya know, the ones i was supposed to have packed weeks ago to be ready.

i came home ate some lunch took some profile pics and off the hospital we went!

I was craving ice cream on the way and i begged Levi to take me to Cold Stone but by then he was annoyed i didnt listen to doc and go to have baby hours ago, so we didnt get my ice cream :(

I pushed for a little over and hour and POOF baby was there. I went from a 7 to an 8 in an hour and so on. I loved my epidural and was texting my family and friends through the labor process LOL my sisters was like "dude for reals Lithie, who texts when they are in labor?"

What can i say? i felt great and was excited!

We have been tremendously blessed with so much love and support.

I cant even express how grateful we are to all of our dear family and friends that have been so generous in giving us so much. Emett has everything he needs! We love you all and are so happy to start our new journey as a new growing little family, creating our own traditions and memories.

My life is a life truly blessed.

Les, Lisia,Tina,Baybee & me visiting Em @ Green Hills :)2 years ago we lost a sister to an illness called Lupus. There were 10 of us girls that started this little click called Quad Sqaud a.k.a Q.S. I am not even going to tell you what it stands for b/c we were like 12 when we made it up and its sooooo silly! We grew up together doing everything together. Sports, dancing, girls camp, seminary, high school, missions, college, marriage, it has been such a journey. What a blessing it has been to have sisters there for you through thick and thin. Eme was the strong one and her nick name was Sheera! she had personality that just made you want to smile and laugh all day. So loving and caring and totally crazy sometimes. We were able to raise over $5K to help the the Lupus Foundation with funds to continue research and find a cure! it was tons of fun to be with the girls again and have a blast getting together in memory of our sister Emeline Te'o.

Ok so i totally had to go to get a full body massage with my sis Leesha it was sooo relaxing and so needed :) i felt amazing after

Of course there was some red carpet even going on in LA that weekend. They rolled it out just for me. The Lupus walk was at the Colleseum at USC so we all went to eat after at an awesome restaurant called the Yard House. YUMMY! and this was going on just outside, it was some pre-emmy award stuff, the celebs were just showing up and we all looked busted so we took pics like freakin tourists and took off lol.

At the hotel right before we left to go walking. All the girls got a hotel room so we good stay up til 4 a.m just reminisching and laughing and remember the ole days before we were all married with kids :) good times!

So Many Changes....

Wow! It's been quite the journey being pregnant. Me and Kendra about 32 weeks here. I am due Nov 12 and she is also having a boy due date is Nov 5th.... just weeks apart. This was at my shower in LA 2 weeks ago. We both had our showers in Cali the same weekend and it worked out great that I we were able to go to each others since they were at diff times. heaps of fun! i miss that weather and the food and all the familiar spots, and of course family.
YAY FOR US HAVING BOYS!

ok I had to post this!!!! like for reals is that not painful looking of what? poor thing! I wont complain anymore. i swell but not half as bad. good heavens this looks like it hurts huh?

WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!!

Ok ok so sorry for the 2 month delay on getting any updates! Sheesh summer months are so busy with activities, reunions, holiday festivities, parties, bbq's, showers, weddings and yada yada.........
I am over 6 1/2 months along and just so excited to meet my little boy. No we dont have any names picked out yet, some that we like and maybe I will add a poll question on the side bar to get our votes. Sorry I dont have a cute new ultra sound pic of baby Rock. I have a 3D one but honestly it looked kinda funny and almost scary, i wanted just a black and white one but i didnt think of asking. You will just have to imagine it for now. My belly is getting so big and i just feel so huge! I crave sweets and candy and ice cream along with crunchy foods yum! So whoever says that if you crave sweets and sugars its a girl, and if you crave salty/sour and starchy foods its a boy.... YOU ARE WRONG!!!! my latest fix has been ice cream sandwiches & almond snickers bars for breakfast! yep you heard me FOR BREAKFAST :) who cares dont judge me I take my prenatals so baby is getting the nutrients he needs OK!

Thanks hunny for taking this pic, I made him take like 8 diff pics and of course the guys will say they all look the same but i was trying to get an angle where i dont look like a freakin giant umpa lumpa!

We got a new kitchen table too! well it was a hand me down. Dude if its free its me! i love free gifts that are totally in great conditions. Thanks mom and dad Rock, it makes our house feel more like a home :)



I also got a new phone!!! Since i got home from the mish in 2006 i have upgraded twice now i love my new phone since i am a texter i got a key board feature. my last upgrade was to a camera phone. So from left to right is the birth and death of my phones! I love you Gizmo. yes i named my phone. Technology these days is impressive. We are so blessed.
oh man and we came home one morning and walked into this!!! our back door was busted. i was so scared. we stayed at our families house for the weekend in SLC and came home early morning and the house had a chill in it and was all drafty, i thought someone had broken into the house. My first thought was, what the??? of all the places to rob AGGIE VILLAGE wouldnt be MY first pick with all the broke college students lol, i mean unless you were trying to get away with some killer text books, lots of cereal, Top Ramen, & maybe some DVD's hahaha you are a dumb burglar! anyway it was just USU housing. They fixed it all for free. apparently someone was weed wacking and a rock flew thru the machine and shattered our glass. jeepers! at least leave us a note ya know! i was still a little freaked out. but i am over it.

Ok the following pics were just from Sat Aug 1st. My hubby is so amazing! we bought a king size white sheet from walmart (the new one in providence-like we needed another walmart- I WANT A TARGET!) its a nice walmart. tied it up to the wall in our back yard, hooked up the projector, and POOF! our own big screen TV to watch movies and play Wii games! we are going to have a wii tourney soon so you are all invited.

We hung out with our awesome friends & neighbors the Lawrences & the Taylors. Ate some pop corn, cookies, raced mario cart, & watched star wars 5 :) i fell asleep but it was so much fun. w

OH MY GOSH OK FUNNY STORY......
When Levi and I were dating he kept talking about his jet ski and wanting to take me camping so he could show me how to ride a jet ski he said he had bought one for himself.... i was like wow, he bought his own jet ski, this kid must have some serious savings to by such a purchase and still be in school full time. either that or he has his priorities all mixed up.
So months pass and we finally go camping and we are packing the truck with his bro and sis and he takes me to the garage to show me his new jet ski and this is it........
a BLOW UP JET SKI!!! I laughed soooooo hard! this was totally Levi!
such a kid at heart. It squirts water and all! it has a motor and goes like 2 inches every 5 min LOL, it is actually loads of fun! it was $30 at Albertsons! Great purchase huh. we have had so much fun with it. it is hilarious watching the people around us stare at us grown adults trying to ride a little kid toy hahahaha but it holds like up to 250 lbs for reals.

During the summer months there are tons of ward/student activities going on. This is just a random pic I made the girls take after our amazing enrichment activity. GREAT JOB PAIGE so much fun. I love the girls in my ward they are so sweet and giving and great examples. I'll have to post more later.

Congrats to Derek & Nativa. Derek was accepted to med school in West Virginia and so we threw them a farewell BBQ to send them off with our love and support. We miss you guys!

Who cares that its like amonth late. We went to bear lake again to celebrate the 4th of July with my cousin Linzie & her inlaws the Hennessey's SOOOO MUCH fun! we ate BBQ like 3 days in a row. cant complain about that!

These are my awesome cousins, my lil bro in white shirt & older sis from the wedding we went home to cali for. My little cousins are getting so big! They are all taller than me. Congrats to Deveney who got a full ride to play vball at Cornell University! So proud of you.

Camping, Birthdays, Preggie Updates & Weddings Oh My...

Here is my first preggie profile pic taken at 3 1/2 months... good heavens i am showing already, what a fatty huh? this was taken May 13, so now we are 4 1/2 months CRAZY!!!

Ok well i guess this is what you get when you dont update your blog for weeks and months on end. So much has happened since my last post. My morning sickness has gone away thank heavens. I am almost 5 months prego and we find out the gender in 2 weeks!

My newest favorite breakfast craving is a toasted honey wheat bagel (has to be honey wheat and has to be toasted) with cream cheese & crunchy hot cheetos on top!!!! hmmm hmmm good :) can't wait til morning.

One of my BFFs had a bday on June 2nd and we had a girls day out getting one hour full body massages & pedicures. Happy Bday Nativa!!!

We went camping up Logan Canyon with our cousins Natalie & Jason who are newlyweds as of 2 weeks. We just did an over nighter roasting hot dogs and playing Killer Bunnies and of course had to have some SMORES. It was heaps of fun!

Here was our latest vacay to cali for a week for my cousins wedding. it was amazing and so much fun! i miss my polynesian sisters and my poly food! chop suey, luau/palusami, fa'i, pisupo, and all the yummy restaurants like In and Out, Rascalls, Elephant Bar, Soup Plantation, The Loft, & the list goes on!!!

Congrats to the newly weds Linzie and Tyler Hennessey! We love you guys it was so fun!

I am sure that when i have babies of my own i will stare at them all day like i do her. i cant wait. they are such an overwhelming source of inspiration and encouragement, so innocent, loving and pure in heart. So humble and giving. just so darling.

Ok, so Levi and I have been married for a little over a year now and we thought we were going to wait for a couple of years (2-4) before we started building our little family. The Plan WAS... Levi would get his under grad in Dec '09 & jump into the Masters Program for Elec Engineering for 2 more years and I would just work full time to support things until he finished and then we would have babies & I would finish my degree from home & online while he makes the buko bucks bringing in the dough as a full time Elec Engineer. We pondered and thought about it, prayed tons, and we just felt that something was missing..... Here is the missing link.....

He/She is upside down so you can see his little head at the bottom and his cute little feet are at the top.... awwww our little gummi bear :) you can make out the little arms right under the head, they look like little donut holes lol and his cute belly right under that.

I keep saying Him or His b/c i think it's a boy but we'll find out in 2 more months. I am not like most of my friends who wanted to get married and have kid right away. Our plans have changed. I wanted to travel, to work, build my own empire in broadcast journalism or a career in finances & investments. I never saw myself and still don't as a stay at home "soccer mom". But the more I read my scriptures and listened to the General Authorities & Prophets council not to wait until you are "financially stable" or "finished with college" or "Home Owners" to start a family, the more my heart ached for a little one.

I know they bring such joy & open your eyes to see the world & life in a whole new light. I suppose it will be like how it was when I came home from the mission.... Priorities change, interests change, habits & activities differ, sleeping patterns change haha, perspective & insight is altered to view things in a more eternal compass.

I realized I was being selfish and trying to convince myself, and made excuses to wait until we were financially stable & had degrees & a home before we brought children in this world, but that was just my fear speaking. I dont think you will ever be able to "afford" children ha ha, ya know? you will always want more for them and work harder to make sure they have it.
I dont think I will ever feel adaquate to be a mother but I am sure most new moms feel that way.

Levi was so excited when the test came back positive, he did a little victory dance haha. It was so surreal. I didn't believe it so we took two tests! I wanted Levi to pee on one stick so we could test the accuracy LOL hahahaha so funny I know I'm so weird like that....

We look forward to this new journey & can't wait to have fun family vacations! To start traditions of our own. Tell them fun stories at bedtime. Watch them grow and say and do funny things..... oh the joys of parenthood... here we come.
