Family Rocks!

Ok so my cute little cousin Alai was baptized like weeks ago and i am just getting around to posting the pics. i've been a little busy.
It was so fun to be with family. here is a picture of the amazing cake and elaborate buffet that was prepared for her special day!

Her colors were brown and teal blue, the tables were so cute! The food was off the hook!! When Levi and I pulled into the church parking lot he thought we were at the wrong church b/c there were so many cars loading tons of food and stuff into the kitchen and when we walked pass the culture hall it seriously looked like a wedding, haha it was beautiful though and such an important day for her to remember the sacred covenants of baptism :O) Oh and i just loved the musical number cousin Nela sang. Levi actually got all teary eyed. I believe Nela wrote the song too right? I forget the title... Iwanna be... (and it names all the heroes in the B.O.M) Awesome!

Oh i just love these kids!

I just had a blast eating all the yummy foods and being in the kitchen helping out with all the cousins. I actually miss those days! as much as we used to complain when we were little cleaning, cooking, helping, serving food, washing dishes bla bla bla, those are the memories that have stuck, we used to get yelled at b/c we would be laughing too loud! lol Good Times! Our motto was "make fun where there ain't none!"

I was so impressed! There were like 16 long tables set up and each one had diff pics. It was a great turn out.

She is so precious! One of the happiest babies EVER!

She looks like a cute little Rollie Pollie!!! I just want to stare at her all day!

Her mom says that she sometimes just makes noises and talkes to herself and when she sees her reflection in the mirror she gets all excited and starts bustin up laughing & talking like she is chattin with her BFF, it's soooo funny! i miss her spirit. Babies carry such a sweetness and purity that draws you in!

I love my little niece and she is finally coming to visit me in the beginning of March.
I just wanted to post some new pics of her that my cousin Maka took. They are fantastic photographers!

The BIGGEST LOSER

I am actually at work right now "pretending to work" so I dont have a pic of before and after but I LOST 5 LBS!!!! not like you can really tell if i did take a pic (was lying about the before and after) but anyway, My work is doing this biggest loser contest from Jan 12th (mon) to Feb 13th (lastweigh in) and the winner is who ever loses the highest weight %percentage so its fair! and its a $100 pot since its $10 bucks a person and there are.... well you do the math.

I have lost 3.14% so far. Not a ton but its a start. I am sure many of you married peeps can relate to the extra poundate we like to call "Married Mass" haha i just made that up too, but SHOOT I have gained so much since we've gotten married and I count my lucky stars that I am tall so fortunately I hide it well.

I want to just readjust my eating habbits. They suck right now! It's a lifestyle change I know but if you set a goal and track your progression or lack there of your chances of acheiving that goal increase by 62%!!!! can you believe that?

I am excited to keep moving forward. Levi is so sweet and tells me I am beautiful always, but girls let's be real our hubby's say things like that to be nice but you know that only you can really determine how genuinely happy you are with yourself no matter what.
That last line didnt make sense but I'm sure you know what I am trying to say and I am too lazy to go and think it up and re-type it.

I have been such a slacker with this blog thing sorry! I'll post a cool picture soon from our super bowl party at the Larsens! it was awesome!

The PERFECT Tree!! Merry Christmas :O)

FUNNY STORY.....This is our first prefect Christmas Tree!!! My family always has a real one so I miss that fresh pine smell. This is actually my first perfect artificial tree and i have to say i dont like separating the branches and stuff but I like that it's less messy. 

We had a blast putting this perfection together and an even better time laughing at it! So if you can't tell already.... try and guess what is wrong with the tree....

The tree has a figure and is lop-sided because my cute hubby put the wrong branches in the wrong section of the tree (stops typing to laugh some more) so we have an HOUR-GLASS Christmas tree, LOL... hahaha i am still laughing at it... i love him! 

You can totally see the big branches sticking out near the top of the tree. Oh man my stomache hurts. We love it and decided to leave it as is just to put a smile on our faces everytime we leave the house and look at our "PERFECT TREE", I mean, seriously, what's the definition of perfect anyways? You decide what your 'perfect' is right? Well this is ours..............................

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!

I probably wont post a new blog until the new year, that's how lazy I am so that's why I wanted to say Merry Christmas with lots of LOVE.

I made some home made Oreo Cream Pie and Raspberry Cheesecake! oh it was so yummy,

My sis Leesha is the baker in the family but i think it turned out pretty good. It was fun baking

and getting into the holiday spirit making a mess of the kitchen while baking. When my sisters and I were younger we would stay up til the weeee hours of the morning cooking and baking goody trays and platters for my dad to take to his home teaching families and so on... I loved decorating the sugar cookies with frosting. GOOD TIMES.

We hit up Knotts Berry Farm the Sat after Turkey day and had a blast! sheesh i got a massive headache after like 4 rides only... i am getting old :(

Argentina vs. Brasil- they're big time rivals! that's where we served on the mish at the same time.

Here are the boys (Tini, Thias, Levi) trying to race to see who wins the big prize! They had to take a magnetic circle and slide it to the bottom of a winding swirly pole without touching the sides or the buzzer would sound and the red light would go off... LOL THEY ALL LOST!!!
One went off and distracted the others and all their red lights were buzzing it was hilarious.



So, as always... the "little" girls had to show them how it's done! (Rae, Lisette, Lorah) Way to go Lisette! Easy does it! She won it and made it look too easy!

This is my fave season! FALL!!! best food, best wardrobe attire, best weather-not too cold not too hot either, just right! And it's just around the corner from the holidays :)
This was actually taken last year in Idaho out in pokie when we went to visit our great friends Steve & his wife now Nikki. We miss them.
Dude i had to sport this pic since it's the season! We are on the halloween countdown so these massive pumpkins were totally appropriate. Any guesses in how much these pumpkins weigh?
